TIPTOE GIANTS are an award-winning Australian children's music group made up of Leanne (Lee) King, Megan (Meg) Lipworth, and Vanessa (Vee) Couper. Their music is aimed at children from 0 to 7 years old.[1] Winners of the 2023 APRA Song of the Year for Little River Runs, their collaboration with Josh Pyke, and nominees for Album of the Year for 2023 release Small But Mighty. They were nominated for the ARIA Award for Best Children's Album in 2020 for Colour the World, and have had successes in the International Songwriting Competition, Australian Independent Record Labels AIR Awards, and more.[2]

TIPTOE GIANTS write, record and perform original music for families to enjoy together. Between them they are professional musicians, Sydney Conservatorium graduates, music educators, a registered music therapist, a professional writer, professional dancers, mums, aunties, and multiple scholarship, grant, and award nominees and winners.

The trio pride themselves on creating songs that toy with conventional forms, employing sophisticated language, concepts and messages, and they enjoy straying from predictable phrasing and harmonic progressions, while staying true to their mission to also be musically and lyrically accessible - TIPTOE GIANTS' songs are intended to be recreated by other educators, therapists, musicians, students, patients (and campfire-guitarists too!), so that the embedded benefits of their thoughtful and carefully-crafted songs can be shared beyond their own recordings and live performances.

Their songs, mantras, affirmations, and poems are deeply rooted in music therapy and education, cognitive, social, and emotional development, while also providing enjoyable and entertaining sonic and lyrical experiences for kids and their grown-ups alike. Fun and catchy music from TIPTOE GIANTS is overflowing with 'hidden vegetables' for hearts and minds of all ages.

With sophisticated and carefully-curated instrumentation, sweet harmonies, and arrangements that stretch the young listener without overwhelming, TIPTOE GIANTS take inspiration from an immense breadth of musical genres, their own prolific experiences in education, music and the performing arts, and many of their own personal songwriting heroes, to create a truly varied and profound body of work across their three albums to date.
