Dr. Vimal Mishra

Dr. Vimal Mishra is a renowned Professor at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar in Civil Engineering & Earth Sciences[1]. He is also the Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports (Nature Publishing Group), Scientific Data (Nature Publishing Group). His research focuses on understanding impacts of climate variability and climate change on various aspects (e.g. water resources, energy, infrastructure, and food security) related to humans and society. He integrates observed and remotely sensed datasets with large scale

Early Life and Education

Dr. Mishra completed his undergraduate studies in 2003 at Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, Masters in 2005 from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and completed Ph.D. in 2010 from Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA.
