Assisted Living is a 1992 novel by Swedish Author Nikanor Teratologen. It is a fictional collection of writings by a murdered eleven year-old boy which details his surreal, often extremely perverse, life. Most entries revolve around time spent with his grandfather: who often engages in acts of violence, sex, and cannibalism that the boy is familiar with given their very close relationship.
