Lack of detail

[edit]

I'm afraid I don't know enough about this subject to write confidently. Masses of information is to be found at the nlab (external links). I created this stub because "polygraph" is widely used in the literature of rewriting theory, but online searches only turn up results about lie detectors. At least this exists to note that "polygraph" has a meaning in mathematics and has links to useful resources. I encourage others with more understanding to help expand this article.
