The 11-year-old

[edit]

I'm concerned about calling an 11-year-old runaway someone's "girlfriend". Statutory rape victim seems slightly more appropriate but... But I don't know what the sources say and I don't want to overstep. jengod (talk) 18:40, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Jengod: I agree, I re-worded it. The sources use "girlfriend" in quotes so I decided to just re-word it altogether. Regards. Inexpiable (talk) 12:28, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've checked that source, made a slight adjustment. The newspaper calls her his "girlfriend", scare quotes included, and says he was later charged with statutory rape. Valereee (talk) 13:11, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much @Inexpiable @Valereee for taking a look and improving. jengod (talk) 14:10, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

OR in Executions section

[edit]

The sources for the first two sentences of the final para don't mention Gardner, Plath, or Arnold. I think this is OR, and really the entire paragraph feels kind of like editorializing. Valereee (talk) 13:22, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've made some edits to address. Valereee (talk) 13:31, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
