The White House Uganda is the headquarters for Ham Group of Companies and the administration block for Ham Integrated Agro-Processing Industries.[1][2] Inspired by the White House in Washington, D.C., this building also functions as a tourist attraction. It was developed by Ugandan entrepreneur Hamis Kiggundu and is part of his broader effort to showcase local potential and drive economic growth in Uganda [3][4][5]
Location
The building is Located in Akright City along the Entebbe–Kampala Expressway and is bordered by Namugongo Road to the north, the community of Bwebajja and Kampala–Entebbe Road to the east, Namulanda to the southeast, Palm Valley Golf and Country Club to the south, and the community of Sekiwunga.[6]The coordinates of the neighborhood are:0°10'21.0"N, 32°31'06.0"E (Latitude:0.172504; Longitude:32.518333).[2][7][3]
History
The project, inspired by the American presidential residence, was designed to serve both cultural and practical business purposes.[8] The construction of the White House in Uganda represents a notable development in the country's architectural and business sectors.[9] It was intended to symbolize the modern aspirations of Ugandan entrepreneurship and economic growth.[10][11]

Construction of The White House Uganda began in December 2019 and was completed in September 2021.[12][13]
