Precious Baba (Birth Name: Precious Veronica Baba) born October 14th 1997 is a Ghanaian American Anti-Malaria and public health activist. She has a degree in criminal justice from the University of Massachusetts and a certificate in Law Enforcement from Quinsigamond Community College. [1] She also studied for a masters degree in epidemiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center but did not graduate. On the 27th and 28th of May 2024, she organized a cleanup exercise in the Busia and Kimwanyi zones of the Katanga community. [2] She highlighted the importance of cleanliness and strategies to mitigate malaria. [3]In addition, she donated mosquito nets, repellents, and sanitary pads to the community. [4]The event was covered by numerous media outlets, including Bukedde TV, New Vision, PML Daily, Observer newspaper, Top TV, Salt TV and CBS FM Buganda. On June 7th 2024, she organized another cleanup exercise in the zana and Kirimanyaga communities of Uganda. She hoped that this exercise will reduce pollution, eliminate waste and reduce hazards that could harm human health. New Vision, Nile Post and NBS Television were among the few media houses who covered this event.
