Reason: Disruptive and unsourced edits by new users and IPs again and again. M S Hassan (talk) 04:42, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@M S Hassan: It is not easy for an admin here with no knowledge of the topic to see why the edits are disruptive. Please post a brief explanation on article talk and try to get the new editors to engage there. Post again if the problem can be made clear. Johnuniq (talk) 07:24, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – IPs keep removing sourced content [1] [2] [3] which is explicitly mentioned by the subject herself in interview corroborated in two sources present int he public domain [4] [5]. Might be a case of WP:COI. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:18, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Lectonar (talk) 11:33, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Lectonar: Disruption continues. See - [6]. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 14:01, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User(s) blocked: 119.93.201.71 (talk · contribs) blocked by Ohnoitsjamie. Favonian (talk) 15:31, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Abdul Raheem Abdulla

Reason: Persistent disruptive editing, he also has many haters. The article needs cleanups with those editings; many hate words in dhivehi languageexample. "Tinu" meaning he is a Tin. MAL MALDIVE (talk) 14:54, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – Repeated block evasion by MagellanAquarium via IP, see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MagellanAquarium/Archive. Latest ip (66.97.145.64 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) has resumed edit warring after a two week block for socking. MrOllie (talk) 15:43, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User(s) blocked: 66.97.145.64 (talk · contribs) blocked by PhilKnight. A whole year, this time. 66.97.145.65 will likely suffer the same fate if it pops its head above the parapet again. Favonian (talk) 16:52, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry. Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:55, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – IP socks of Swagotalaxmi Deb after their last sock was blocked. They hop IP's somewhat often, so not sure if whack-a-mole blocking would really work vs protecting their most common targets. Not that anyone would object if the IP is blocked for a bit though... Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent vandalism. Myrealnamm (💬pros · ✏️cons) 18:14, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Persistent, ongoing sock puppetry and ban evasion by blocked user Phoebetan10 (also: 101.78.124.164 and 119.74.209.44). Sunny Nights (talk) 19:24, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

List of video games with LGBT characters

Reason: Edit warring. Last page protection ran out only two weeks ago Trade (talk) 19:35, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Travis Head

Semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – BLP vandals have noticed that the page is no longer protected. Revdel needed for at least one edit, possibly more. Skywatcher68 (talk) 19:57, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Edit warring Trade (talk) 19:57, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Repeatedly vandalized by a couple IPs and a new account. Requesting semi for a few days till disruption stops. Jip Orlando (talk) 20:01, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Balloon Ride

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – Long-term redirect hijacking from Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Caidin-Johnson. Jalen Folf (Bark[s]) 20:08, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Josh Green (basketball)

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content – Green has been reported to have been traded, leading to many IPs adding unsourced content surrounding the potential deal. BullDawg2021 (talk) 20:17, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
