Barden Inlet - Wikipedia

Barden Inlet is the lowest of the Outer Banks water inlets. Located just northwest of Cape Lookout, the inlet connects Onslow Bay of the Atlantic Ocean with Core Sound. It seperates the Shackleford Banks from the Core Banks.
