Alexandria High School is a public school located in Alexandria, Alabama, USA. Alexandria High School is part of the Calhoun County School System.

The school's mascot is the Valley Cub. The school colors are orange and black.


Mission Statement

The mission of AHS, in partnership with the family and community, is to offer a quality educational foundation, which will provide each student the opportunity to succeed academically and to develop emotionally in order to reach the student's potential in a changing society.

Clubs

The school is home to a Science Club, Seniors Scholars Bowl, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Government Association, Spanish Club, Math Club, a school newspaper production ("Bear Facts"), Future Farmers of America, FCCLA, the "SADD" program, Honor society, a Christian Club, Builders Club, and Key Club.

Sporting Programs

Varsity Football, Cheerleading, Basketball, Volleyball, Golf, Baseball, and Softball.
