Tierra Blanca, Cartago

Tierra Blanca is a city in Cartago province, Costa Rica, about 3 miles due north of Cartago, Costa Rica; resting on the slopes of the mountain whose summit is the Volano Irazu. Tierra Blanca is at an elevation of about 2000 m above sea level.

Background

Tierra Blanca is a small farming community made up of approximately 5000 inhabitants. At the time of the writing of this article, the people there are mostly of a Spanish decent.
