The 'Great Offices of State' in the United Kingdom are the four most senior and prestigious posts in the British government.

They are Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Home Secretary, Foreign Secretary and Chancellor of the Exchequer. These postings are currently held by Tony Blair, Charles Clarke, Jack Straw and Gordon Brown respectively.

The late James Callaghan was the only person to have served in all four positions.
