Dearne Valley College is a further education college situated in the Manvers park area of Wath upon Dearne, England. It also has a campus near Wath town centre.

The college Dearne Valley College was first established in 1976. It was given the name Rockingham College by Rotherham Borough Council. In 1996 it was renamed Dearne Valley College. This coincided with a new £7.5 million pound development on the site of the old Manvers Colliery. In 2006 the college celebrated its 10th anniversary of the new buildings.

Over 11 years the college has changed its views to that of the local people. The college itself specialises in vocational qualifications (NVQs). And so far it does not offer a full time A-level course. In the 11 years that the college has been open they have added several HE programs and vocational programs for under 16s.

Three years after being opened the college took the chance to add a new construction block. These are for construction, motor vehicle, and engineering courses. Also in 1999 the college added a sports centre and a health club. The college is always looking to improve their facilities. They have added a football pitch, and a synthetic pitch. As well as all weather courts. These facilities can be used by students, and the local community.

The Manvers site is linked to the Swinton and Wath transport interchanges by the Manvers 200 shuttle bus service. There is also lots of bus stops that can go to all major towns surrounding the area.

In 2002 the college was awarded CoVE (Centre of Vocational Excellence) a special status for Leisure Service Industries. Also it has held TTENTO (Travel Tourism and Events National Training Organisation) Centre of Excellence status since 1999.

The college itself has commendable facilities which prove a great asset with students. The Learning Centre offers great support for courses. And learning mentors.

The college offers Apprenticeships,NVQs,BTEC. And many more well recognised qualifications. They also offer GCSE courses in English & Maths.
