Terence John Peck MBE, CPM (August 2, 1938 -- December 30, 2006) was a member of the Falkland Islands Defence Force who during the 1982 Falklands War became a war hero by spying on the Argentine invaders and subsequently escaping to British lines and becoming a scout with 3 Para and fighting at the Battle of Mount Longdon.
