The Real World: Stockholm was the first reality show to be broadcasted on swedish television tkane from the hugely successfull The real World american series, the show started airing on october 1, 1995 on TV1000 the show was successfull and in 1996 The Real World: Visby was created but that season the ratings dropped and the show was cancelled. The year after sweden was the first country in the world to broadcast Expedition Robinson also known as Survivor which started airing on SVT and was a huge succes.
