Morogoro Urban is one of the 6 districts of the Morogoro Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the North by the Morogoro Rural District, to the East by the Pwani Region, to the South by the Kilombero District and to the West by the Kilosa District.

According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Morogoro Urban District was 228,863.[1]
