Is a small village East of Irbil in Arbil Province in Iraq. It was one of the Centres of the CIA controlled ICD, until Saddam Husseins forces invaded in 1991, with the cooperation of Barzani. Recently it has become a home for thousands of Internally displaced persons,(2) mostly christians fleeing Mosul and Baghdad escaping persectution.

It had been home to the Jacobite christians for some centuries(1)
