80/20 T-Slotted Aluminum Profiles
T-slotted aluminum is manufactured through an extruding process. There are a variety of recipes that manufacturers' use in formulating their aluminum. 80/20 Inc. uses 6061-T5 aluminum. 80/20 believes that this formula delivers the best yield strength, a yield strength equivalent to that of A36 Carbon Steel, but besides being strong it's also easily machined reducing waste. As the aluminum is pushed through the extrusion die, it takes on this shape. These integral T-slots create the foundation of our assembly technology. Buy using any combination of 80/20's fasteners, connectors, joining plates or accessories, you can create any type of frame you can image.
80/20 supplies T-slotted profiles in two measurement groups, Fractional (Inch) and Metric. These two profile groups are comprised of size specific profile series.
80/20 fractional profiles are available in two profile series.
10 Series 1.00" (0.50" from the edge of the profile to the centerline of the T-slot)
15 Series 1.50" (0.75" from the edge of the profile to the centerline of the T-slot)
80/20 metric profiles are available in five profile series.
20 Series 20mm (10mm from the edge of the profile to the centerline of the T-slot)
25 Series 25mm (12.5mm from the edge of the profile to the centerline of the T-slot)
30 Series 30mm (15mm from the edge of the profile to the centerline of the T-slot)
40 Series 40mm(20mm from the edge of the profile to the centerline of the T-slot)
45 Series (22.5mm from the edge of the profile to the centerline of the T-slot).
Each of these series regardless of size has supported by a full line of fasteners and accessories.

AutoQuoterX is the industry leading AutoCAD plug-in for design, and quoting of 80/20 T-slotted aluminum fixtures. Packed full of new features and products AutoQuoterX is the best way to design any modular 80/20 project. Deflection CalculatorX allows you to do beam deflection calculations and column loading calculations. With these tools, you can determine more accurately what profiles you need for your project, and decide what fastening methods will be better for your intended purpose. All of the T-slotted profiles are included in 80/20's Deflection CalculatorX. Also, as an added convenience, you can create User-defined beams by inputting your own profile dimensions into the software.
"Design Assistance" is also available directly from 80/20 if you don't have the time or resources to use their design tools. Simply send 80/20 a basic drawing including dimensions and their in-house CAD designers will create a cad drawing and bill of materials for you. Upon your approval, your order will be entered and on its way to you.
