The Berkeley Marine Corps Recruiting Center Controversy began in September, 2007 when a group of protesters from Code Pink began protesting in front of a United States Marine Corps Officer Selection Office located in Berkeley, California.<ref name="DP Code Pink Protests">Riya, Bhattacharjee (2007-09-28).
