Horse racing in Scotland
Appearance
Horseracing in Scotland normally comes under a British, as opposed to national aegis. The main meeting held is the Scottish Grand National, held in Ayr each April.
Supposedly, the oldest continually run horse racing event is the Lanark Silver Bell.
