Quince Dessert (Turkish: Ayva Tatlısı) is a traditional Turkish dessert made of cooked quince fruit, cloves, sweet syrup or quince marmelade and topped with whipped cream. Served as halves with the inside slightly carved out, it is a popular dish enjoyed both warm and cold throughout western Turkey, particularly in wintertime.
