The Photographers' Gallery was founded in London in 1971 and was the first independent gallery in Britain that was devoted entirely to photography[1]. It regularly features exhibits by internationally renowned photographers, and it host the prestigious annual Deutsche Börse Photography Prize[2].
In 2011, the Photographers' Gallery plans to move from its present location near Leicester Square to a new Soho location[3].
