2005–06 A1 Grand Prix season

The 2005-06 A1 Grand Prix season will be the inaugural season for the A1 Grand Prix series. It is scheduled to commence on 25 September, 2005, and is scheduled to end on 26 March, 2006 after twelve races. The calendar for the season is as follows:

- (a) - Both Indonesia and Singapore are bidding for the right to hold the seventh race in the 2005 A1 Grand Prix season.
- (b) - At present either a Durban street circuit or the Killarney Circuit in Cape Town will hold the eighth race of the season.
- (c) - Subject to FIA Grade 2 approval or alternative circuit as directed by the Chinese government.
