iwash Original name

This is the TRUE origin of the name and need not be removed. The works "iwash" and "lakok" are from the chinook language , THE MOST RELEVANT LANGUAGE of the location of the rock! The original name "iwash" refers to "penis" not "rooster" see page 102 at http://books.google.com.mx/books?id=Oy8_5S8hMjAC&pg=PA102&lpg=PA102&dq=indian+name+rooster+rock+state+park&source=bl&ots=7W1KANtnzT&sig=k6XRYgZ7ZtAlouUs6EYAj59NfjY&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=4&ct=result#PPA102,M1 If you remove this information you are trying to revise history, and the rich Native Amertican culture that originally named it!

Cleanup

Needs a bit of a rewrite (tone is a bit casual for an encyclopedia) and some references. Katr67 07:22, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
