Untitled

black monk time was originally recorded in March of 1966 at the famous Polydor studios in Cologne (Germany), and was produced by Jimmy Bowien. The album was then released two months later, but only in an extremely limited fashion - Germany and Sweden exclusively. This new reissue of Black Monk Time was spurred by the success of the book "Black Monk Time" by Eddie Shaw and the successful documentary Monks: The Transatlantic Feedback that had generated a renewed interest in the Monks. The re-release was put out both CD and LP formats.
