G.E.M.
Template:Infobox Chinese-language singer and actor Gloria Tang or Tang Zhi-Kei (simplified Chinese: 邓紫棋; traditional Chinese: 鄧紫棋; pinyin: Dèng Zǐqí; born August 16, 1991), better known as G.E.M. is a singer in Hong Kong. Her name, G.E.M. stands for Get Everyone Moving.
Biography
Born in Shanghai, G.E.M. moved to Hong Kong at the age of 4. Ever since G.E.M. was young, she had a passion for music. At the age of 5, she started writing lyrics. When she was 10, she started entering numerous amounts of singing competitions. She was awarded 9 major awards within her debutante year (2008).
G.E.M. finished level 8 piano when she was 13.
G.E.M. graduated from True Light Girls' College.
In 2006, G.E.M. participated in a competition called "Spice it Up" and got first place. Her manager, Tan Chang found her talent during the competition and signed a contract with her. She became a singer at the age of 16. [1] [2]
In 2009, G.E.M. appeared on episodes 27 and 28 of Boom Boom Ba(耳分高下) with Amigo as her partner. G.E.M. will appear on episode 6 of Beautiful Cooking 2(美女廚房 2)
