Lola Blanc


Kandice Melonakos (born December 20, 1987) is an American singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California.

History

Kandice was born in Germany, raised in Michigan, and now resides in Hollywood, California. She began performing as a ventriloquist at the age of 9. [1] She moved to Los Angeles at age 17 to pursue music and became a showcase artist for En2Go, Inc., [2] but parted ways with the company of June 2009. [3] Kandice is currently working with a number of producers.

Collaborations

Kandice has written songs with Cisco Adler, Cary Brothers, and Damon Elliott. She is featured in the Bloc Party music video "Signs (Armand Van Helden remix)"[4], the Sky Larkin music video "Antibodies," [5] and the Fitz and the Tantrums video "Winds of Change." [6] She wrote the song "Come Closer" for Suzie Rose, which was placed in season 3 of the CW's The Game. [7] She also did background vocals on the soundtrack for Repo! The Genetic Opera. [8]
