Survivor: Panama
“Survivor: Panama - Exile Island” will be the twelfth season of Survivor (TV Series), and it will take place in the Pearl Islands, off the coast of Panama. A preview of the show’s location was shown during the finale of Survivor: Guatemala. Filming began on 31 October 2005 and the season is set to premiere in February 2005 on CBS.
The preview also revealed this season’s “twist” will be a “tiny island of exile” where “each week at least one castaway will be banished for days at a time" during the game, but the island will also contain a secret strategic advantage, which “may be the key to one million dollars and the title of sole survivor.”
The season will also feature 16 players, whereas the last four seasons have featured either 18 or 20 players, and they will be “divided into tribes in a way never before seen.” Only 16 players will begin the game.
