The Western Ontario Mustangs (or more often the Western Mustangs) are the athletic teams that represent the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada.

UWO has teams for badminton, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, curling, fencing, field hockey, figure skating, football, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, rowing, rugby union, soccer, softball, squash, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling. They also have the largest University Marching Band in Canada.

The cheerleading team won the national championship for 22 straight years, and the squash team has won 21 consecutive Ontario championships. The football team has won the Vanier Cup six times; coach Larry Haylor led the team from 1984 until his retirement in 2006, and currently holds the Canadian Interuniversity Sport record for most wins.
