The Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky Ukrainian: Орден Богдана Хмельницького) is the Ukrainian award, named after cossack's Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky, first established by Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II on May 3, 1995.
