Kerrie Tucker was the unsuccessful 2007 Greens Senate candidate for the ACT.

She was elected to the ACT Legislative Assembly in 1995 and was re-elected in 1998 and 2001. She resigned from the Assembly and ran as a Senate candidate in 2004, where she gained the highest personal vote of any candidate.[citation needed]

Since 2004 Tucker has worked as the Executive Officer of ACT Shelter, advocating for the housing needs of people on low income and then as Co-chair of Anti-Poverty Week, the latter on a voluntary basis.

She was a member of the Democrats for a brief period before the ACT Greens were established.

In the early 1990s she also worked in the library of the Canberra Environment Centre and was editor of Bogong, the Centre's journal.
