Hamsa Gita
Appearance
Uddhava Gita (Sanskrit) (also referred to as Hamsa Gita) consists of Krishna's final discourse to Uddhava before Krishnas draws his role as 'descent' (Sanskrit: avatara) to completion. Though the Uddhava Gita is a singular work it also is evident in the Eleventh Canto of the Bhagavata Purana and is considered part of the Purana literature proper.[1] This discourse importantly contains the story of the Avadhuta which Vaishnava tradition ascribes to Dattatreya.
