Thamarassery is a town in Kozhikode district, Kerala, India. It is at a distance of 30 km east of Kozhikode City.It is on the way on Calicut - Wayanad route. Thamarassery Churam is famous Hill Highway.Bus service to near by towns are available.A KSRTC Bus Stand is available here.Many tourism spots are also here.Koyilandi - Nilambur SH passes through here.Near places are Koduvally,Thiruvambady,Balussery,Kodencheri.Always bus services are avilable to Calicut,Kalpetta,Sulthan Bathery,Mnanthavady,Bngalore,Koyilandy,Mukkam..

The Thamarassery Churam became famous all over Kerala as a result of repeated references to it in the film Vellanakalude Nadu by comedy actor Kuthiravattom Padmadalakshan.[2]
