Hi. About the McKillop article. What's your source for the crestbadge? The crestbadges worn by Scottish clans contain the crest of their chief, or the chief of their name. Do the McKillops have a chief of the name? It doesn't seem like it. Look at all the septs listed in the article: historically the name seems to have been dependants of numerous chiefs. For example, the Harris MacKillops were followers of the MacLeods of Harris and Dunvegan. The article isn't about a particular clan, it's really about a surname. There could be numerous families who have the surname. So, I think the crestbadge should be removed.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 07:11, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
