Brian LeClair (born October 17, 1968) was a Minnesota Politician who most recently served as a member of the Minnesota Senate, serving the 56th Senate district of Minnesota.[1] A member of the Republican Party, he was defeated for reelection by Kathy Saltzman in 2006 and is currently running for Judge in Minnesota's 10th Judicial district in the 2010 election.[2][3] Prior to public office, LeClair served as the Health Policy Advisor for Governor of Minnesota Tim Pawlenty.[4] LeClair is the Vice president of LeClair Insurance in Saint Paul, Minnesota.[5]

Brian earned graduate degrees in both law and business, and holds the CLU and ChFC designations from the American College in Pennsylvania. His writings have appeared in the New York Times and Forbes Magazine.[6]
