Elema Semikina (born in 1984) is a Canadian beauty pageant contestant. She was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2010 in Toronto, Ontario on Jun 14, 2010.[1] She's no stranger to the Miss Universe Canada pageant, placing in the top 10 in 2008

As of June 2010 Semikina is completing her studies at York University with a focus on Marketing and Finance. In addition to her school workload, she is also enrolled in oratory, neuro-linguistic programming, acting and dance classes.[2] Fitness and daily workouts play an integral role in helping Elena to maintain a well-balanced life.

She is scheduled to represent Canada in Miss Universe 2010 beauty contest to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on Aug 23, 2010.
