CollegeAmerica is a private, for-profit college offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The college is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Established in 1964, the college is located at 6 campuses across Colorado, Wyoming and Arizona, USA. Accelerated degree programs could be completed in lesser time frame than the traditional degree programs. The college also offers career focused degree programs for Military/Veterans[1] and working professionals as well. Every month the evening and day classes are initiated, while the Graduation is scheduled every June and December where one can opt for fast undergraduate degree programs in Medical Specialties, Healthcare Administration, Business Management and Accounting, Computer Networking, Computer Programming, Computer Science and Graphic Arts. The college provides loans to students needing financial aid.

History

CollegeAmerica, established in 1964, was formerly known as Northern Arizona College of Health Careers. Earlier a part of the Control Data Institute system during the early 1960s, CollegeAmerica has continually upgraded and kept pace with advances in computer, medical and business industries.

Known for its high education standards, CollegeAmerica offers academic majors designed specifically to meet the changing trends and requirements of the business and markets. Today, CollegeAmerica, imparts education to generations of graduates helping them to be successful in new and upcoming careers with superior training and outstanding professionalism.

Accreditation

Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC))[2] has accredited CollegeAmerica for awarding Associate of Occupational Studies Degrees and Bachelor's Degrees. ACCSC is a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education under the provisions of Public Law 82-550 and subsequent legislation that requires the evaluation of such agencies and issuance of an official list by the Department.

CollegeAmerica has 6 campuses established across Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming[3]. The college has its main campus established in Denver, Colorado. Other campuses of CollegeAmerica are established in Cheyenne in Wyoming, Fort Collins and Colorado Springs in Colorado and Flagstaff and Phoenix in Arizona.

The Flagstaff campus in Arizona established in 2002. It is located on Route 66 and Steves Boulevard on the North side of town. The campus is well-equipped with up-to-date learning support equipments for students, medical and computer labs, large classrooms, a student lounge and a library. The Flagstaff campus also allows a school-wide computer network for students.

Special programs like the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration program, Medical Specialties and the Computer Technology Programs (Associate) are designed to help professionals meet increasing responsibilities and emphasize the development of practical skills through focused, hands-on learning.
