Fernie Secondary School, built in 1999 is a public high school in the beautiful city of Fernie, British Columbia, it is part of the School District 5 Southeast Kootenay. The school holds grades 7 through 12.

F.S.S is home to The Fernie Secondary School Robotics Club, which in April of 2010 travelled to Atlanta, Georgia to compete in the 2010 FTC.

The team's name is the Fernie Robotic Falcons (after the school mascot) and included eight members in the 2009/2010 season Christopher Atherton, John Iddon, Colin Li, Alex Butala, Cole Goodman, William Butala, Ashleigh Butala, and Darby Gravelle. They had one teacher mentor Mr. William Bell.

F.S.S has one of the largest gymnasiums in the East Kootenays making it a requested gym to compete in as there is a lot of room to serve for volleyball and basketball.
