Thedden is a hamlet in the large civil parish of Bentworth in Hampshire, England. Its nearest town is Alton, which lies approximately 3.5 miles (5.1 km) east from the hamlet. Its nearest train station was formerly the Bentworth and Lasham railway station on the Basingstoke and Alton Light Railway, until its closure in 1932. But due to the closure of the Bentworth and Lasham railway station,[2] the nearest railway station is now 3.6 miles (5.8 km) east of the village, at Alton.
In the hamlet contains Thedden Grange, a privately owned country house which was once specified as one of the manors of Bentworth Hall[3]. During the Second World War Thedden Grange was used as a prisoner of war camp.
