Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (パンティ&ストッキングwithガーターベルト, Panti ando Sutokkingu wizu Gātāberuto) is a 2010 original anime produced by Gainax. It will begin airing on October 1, 2010 and will be simulcast on Crunchyroll.[1][2] The series revolves around two angels named Panty and Stocking, who are sent from the heavens to battle ghosts on Earth.

Characters

Panty (パンティ, Panti) Voiced by: Arisa Ogasawara
A sexy blonde girl who is always sleeping with various men. She can form pistols from her panties.
Stocking (ストッキング, Sutokkingu) Voiced by: Mariya Ise
Panty's younger sister. A black-haired 'goth loli' girl with an appetite for sweet desserts. She can form a pair of swords from her stockings.
Garterbelt (ガーターベルト, Gātāberuto) Voiced by: Kōji Ishii
A large black man who dons a priest's outfit and a large afro, who gives the girls their missions.
Chuck (チャック, Chakku) Voiced by: Takashi Nakamura
Panty and Stocking's pet who is subjected to various pains.
Brief (ブリーフ, Buriīfu) Voiced by: Hiroyuki Yoshino

Anime

The anime series, animated by Gainax and directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, will begin airing in Japan from October 1, 2010. The opening theme is "Theme of Panty & Stocking" by Taku Takahashi whilst the ending theme is "Fallen Angel" by Aimee B.

Manga

A manga adaptation of the series by Tagro began serialisation in Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine from August 4, 2010.[3]
