Alcanede is a town and parish in Santarém Municipality in Portugal. It was the seat of a municipality between 1163 and 1855. It was formed by the parishes of Louriceira, Malhou, Alcobertas, Fráguas, Abrã, Alcanede and Arneiro das Milhariças. In 1801, it had a population of 6,408.
