Shaikh Mohammad Razaullah Ansari is a historian of science, physicist, astronomer and author from India.

Biography

Shaikh Mohammad Razaullah Ansari (born 1935) was born in Delhi in a reputed family of scholars. He did MSc and PhD from Aligarh Muslim University and also DSc from Germany. He is a retired professor and is a well known historian of science, both nationally and internationally.

Works and achievements

His works are extant in the field of Planet, Venus, Transit of Venus , Sun, Astronomy in medieval Islam and Indian astronomy where he is well cited[1]

He was awarded Humbolt Fellowship, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to work in Germany
