PACE was established in 2001 to promote business education in Vietnam. It is located in Ho Chi Minh City. PACE offers a variety of programs, activities, publications, and non-profit projects that help build leadership and capacity in current and future business leaders in Vietnam.
PACE was established at a time when Vietnam was undergoing major legislative reforms. As businesses in the country expanded, business leaders needed to learn about and conform to international standards. The training of business leaders and managers became increasingly important. PACE was one of the first institutions in the country to focus on business education. PACE now delivers a wide range of training for executives from the private and public sector and for all positions and levels in the business community. In the past years, PACE has invited notable speakers to Vietnam to speak to new and key business issues related to Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region, such as Michael E. Porter, Paul Krugman, and Philip Kotler. PACE also initiated various non-profit education programs that are dedicated to expanding educational resources and training for the youth and disadvantaged groups. Among these non-profit programs are the Institute of Potential Leaders (IPL), Good Books.Vn, and the OneBook Project.
