Bucky Covington (born c. 1977) is a finalist on the 5th season of American Idol. He is from Rockingham, NC, and auditioned in Greensboro, NC.

He started to sing at the age of 18. His other talents include, playing the guitar, bass, drums, and writing songs.

His favorite female artist is P!nk, and his favorite male artist is Eminem.

Over the years, Bucky has been part of several bands, both country and rock. After sometime, he elected to perform both original and cover material in a cross genre vein. And example of Bucky's original work can be found at the site created and maintained by his family during his American Idol quarantine.
