A spudger tool made of nylon filled with glass, for holding components for soldering. It is anti-static, and does not scratch plastic and metal surfaces, and is therefore also useful for removing computer parts. It is called a black stick in Apple Computer repair manuals, where it is the recommended tool for prying apart iBook and Mac Mini enclosures.
