The 1st Infantry Brigade was a formation of the New Zealand Army raised in Egypt in 1916 for service on the Western Front in the First World War. It served in many of the major engagements on the Western Front, including the Battles of the Somme and Passchendaele. The brigade was disbanded after the war.
