General Edmund Boyle, 8th Earl of Cork and Orrery KP (21 October 1767 – 29 June 1856), styled Viscount Dungarvan from 1768 to 1798, was an Irish soldier and peer. He became Earl of Cork and Orrery in 1798 on the death of Edmund Boyle, 7th Earl of Cork and was appointed a Knight of the Order of St Patrick on 22 July 1835.[1]
