Curse, Inc. is an online game media company founded by French entrepreneur Hubert Thieblot in 2006. Headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Alabama, New York and the UK, Curse provides complementary media properties to extend the lifetime and increase the audience of the most popular video games on the market.

The Curse Client is an add-on manager that allows you to browse, install, and update your add-ons automatically. The manager is free. A paid version is also available where members can get faster and automatic add-on updates without any ads.

Additionally, Curse was also honored as a Microsoft "Startup of the Day" and were selected to participate in Microsoft's exclusive BizSpark One Program that partners high-potential startups with a dedicated Microsoft business manager. In 2012, Curse’s Founder & CEO, Hubert Thieblot was selected as one of the Northern California Finalists of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year®[2]. Pro-Gaming

Since 2011, Curse is the main sponsor of League of Legends’ Professional Gaming team, Team Curse.NA. The team has become a top three team in the League of Legends arena and is widely recognizable and well known competitive team in the world.
