A view of "Restaurant Row" on West 46th Street

Restaurant Row is the name used for West 46th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues in the Theater District of Manhattan in New York City.

The designation Restaurant Row was made official in 1973. “Where else in the world, except possibly Paris, could you get 16 of the best restaurants collected in such a short strip of land?” Mayor John Lindsay' said at the dedication

Combine a visit to the nearby Theatre District with a pre or post-show dinner at one of the restaurants offering special theatre menus, a prix fixe lunch or dinner featuring a wide variety of cuisine types where you can enjoy any of the 12 World Cuisine, on one block and still make it to the show on time.

Two Parking garages are available. Street parking is permissible after 7 pm with a Muni Meter ticket.
