Noakhali Government College is a public college in Noakhali, Bangladesh[1] established in 1963.

History

Noakhali Government College was founded in 1963 as a small private institution in Maizdee town with the aim to educate the students of this area. Success came within five years of its inception, as the government nationalized the college in 1968[1].Professor Mohammadullah was the founding principal of the college.[citation needed]

Campus

The institution has now two campuses: the original one(about 5 acres) where Higher Secondary education is provided and the main campus(about 16 acres) that provides education for pass course, honors, and master's degrees under the National University. The college has honors course in 15 disciplines and Master's course in 12 disciplines. [1]
